How long has your dental practice been in the area?
Dr. Puskas first bought her dental practice from Dr. Harold Lanier over 19 years ago, who was highly respected in both the dental community and Buckhead social circles. Today, she’s retained several of these elite families and acquired many more patients through personal referrals because of her dedication to excellence, tradition, and quality. Recently, she has moved to a new, state-of-the-art office that is equipped with revolutionary technology, extended hours, and plenty of free parking.
I’m experiencing significant pain in my face and jaw. Can you help?
You may be suffering from TMJ disorder, a debilitating condition that’s caused by a misalignment in your jaw joints. Our team can diagnose your condition during a routine check-up and offer treatment options like occlusal splint therapy and occlusal adjustment to help you regain the better quality of life you deserve.
Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes. If you or a loved one is experiencing a severe dental injury or excessive pain located in the mouth or jaw, don’t hesitate to contact our practice. With our new extended hours, we’re able to make every effort to see your emergency case as soon as possible and provide much-needed relief. Dr. Puskas and the rest of our staff members can also offer instructions over the phone for how to maintain and improve your condition in the interim, as well as whether or not an emergency room visit may be justified.
I want to maintain the natural look of my smile, even after undergoing treatment. Can you do that?
Of course. Dr. Puskas’ area of expertise is in restorative dentistry with an emphasis on esthetics, including tooth-colored fillings, all-ceramic restorations, implant-supported prosthetics, and much more. Our team will always take the time to ensure a seamless, functional result that looks just as great as it feels.
I don’t want to have to wait multiple appointments to receive a new dental restoration. What are my options?
Dr. Puskas’ new, modern office offers patients several state-of-the-art tools, including CEREC. With CEREC, the previous, tedious experience of having to wear a temporary restoration and undergo messy impressions over the span of two or even three appointments is eliminated altogether. Instead, your treatment time is reduced to a single, convenient appointment that still produces the exceptional restorative results your smile needs to thrive again.
Is it true that a dentist can help treat my sleep apnea?
Yes. With a custom oral appliance, Dr. Puskas can help patients who are experiencing mild to moderate sleep apnea achieve relief from their condition by repositioning the jaw just so as they rest. This keeps the airway clear, eliminating constant nighttime interruptions. Patients who are intolerant to CPAP treatment may also be excellent candidates for this less obstructive option.
